Golden Visa through acquisition of luxury properties

• Investment in properties - properties above 500,000 euros in total;
• It is possible to request a residence permit only with the signing of a purchase and sale contract, provided it is made the payment of a deposit of 500,000 euros;
• Joint acquisition of properties, since each of the co-owners invest 500,000 euros or more (eg in case of a group of three investors, the total investment must be 1,5 M €);
• Possibility of financing over 500,000 euros;
• Total freedom to rent or lease the properties.

Legal information for real estate investment:

• Valid for properties acquired from 08 October 2012 on;
• Valid for purchase completed before the application for a residence permit;
• Valid for properties acquired free of charge or mortgage;
• Requirement for a minimum stay in Portugal - 7 days in the first year and 14 days after a period of two years;
• The application must be made within a maximun of 90 days after entry into Portugal.

Golden Visa through capital investments

• Transfer of funds above 1 million euros, with the possibility of including direct investment in any company in Portugal;
• Job creation (creation of a minimum of 10 jobs).
